About the customer and the competitive environment
The Bureau of Insurance Agents in Israel was founded more than 70 years ago in Tel Aviv and is the representative body of insurance agents in Israel. The bureau has about 4,500 members, who are insurance agents who own independent businesses. Once a year, the bureau produces calendars and offers insurance agents the option to purchase them and distribute them to their clients as a positioning tool and as a means of strengthening and maintaining each agent's relationship with his clients. At the same time, the insurance agents also turn to the large insurance companies and private entities and offer them to purchase other calendars, "competitors", for the same purpose. One of the biggest challenges, in integral, was learning and cracking the DNA and values of the bureau and translating them in a quality way to the work process and products.
How do you take a printing product and make it innovative and strategic?
When the bureau chose to work with us it was clear to us that for him it was much more than a calendar. It is a piece of real estate that occupies part of the home / workplace of the end customer. Moreover, it is a means of conveying messages and emphasizing them, differentiating and dealing with the competition between insurance agents and direct companies - digital insurance. And the responses, every year anew, have been amazing.
Getting Started - Calendar 2017 ~ 2018 - Your Personal Insurance Agent
The concept: your personal insurance agent. Rationale: Unlike direct insurance companies, the connection to the insurance agent and the relationship with him is personal and direct. One thing was clear to us: our calendar, unlike the others, will not have a declared sales character but will emphasize the importance and personal connection between the agent and board holders. Family, sports, travel, personal and more. The result: through the creative we have created the end customer is actually exposed to the different types of insurance offered by insurance agents indirectly, as one that connects the above and the meanings to his personal life and the moments that accompany each of us.
New Year New Creative! Calendar 2018 ~ 2019 2009 - May you have a year of ...
The concept: values and inspiration. Rationale and Creative: In this calendar, we have chosen to emphasize the values that accompany any good and professional insurance agent. We practiced an inspirational statement for each value and how not - an impressive and compatible design. We asked ourselves: what would a customer want to see for an entire month and that would also do him good and the idea was not long in coming? The result: a spectacular board The unique colors and of course the whole board were designed under an overall concept of important values that came to the graphic-visual-emotional expression.
Third year in a row: Calendar 2019 ~ 2020 2009 - when an amazing idea becomes a challenging process
The concept: speeches and people who changed the world. The Rationale and the Creative: Each month will present an important speech that took place at a point in time in history that month. In addition, the speaker and his achievements will be told. The Challenge: The project in question had a number of challenges, as will become clear later. The first challenge is that it turns out that there is no quality index that dates back to major speeches and events by dates and months. In fact, collecting and selecting the speeches was ant work. We roamed between libraries and simultaneously searched in many digital information sources. Challenge 2: How do you balance between non-Israeli speakers and Israeli speakers? Between women and men? Challenge 3: Most of the important speeches dealt with wars, policies and important technological discoveries but ... the text of the speeches is not exciting (to say the least). So how the hell do you find 12 speeches and people worthy and suitable for creating a calendar? The option to think of another concept came up, naturally, but ... we just fell in love with the idea and were willing to invest everything it took to put it into practice. After all, this is an original and unique idea and the end customers who will receive the board will also be able to enjoy an innovative and beautiful look, both get inspired and learn something new - a winning trinity! Once found, filtered and selected the 12 teams and selected we created the graphic-visual-emotional concept. We must admit that the result stunned even us!
